Operating Principles

Inside the casing, the impeller rotates with the pump shaft, transferring energy to the fluid in the form of kinetic and pressure energy. This design ensures efficient, continuous fluid movement for a variety of applications. Please note that these pumps are not reversible by simply changing the motor direction—the correct rotation is clockwise when viewed from the rear of the motor.

Operating Principles

Lobe pumps are positive displacement pumps that use two synchronised rotors (lobes) rotating within the pump casing. As the lobes rotate, they create expanding cavities at the inlet, drawing in product without excessive shear. The fluid is then carried around the casing and displaced through the outlet as the cavities contract. This design ensures:

Operating Principles

A hydraulic cylinder drives a double-effect piston that divides the pump housing into two chambers. Each chamber has one inlet and one outlet, allowing smooth entry and exit of product. Large particulates can pass through without damage, while an open separator chamber ensures complete separation between the hydraulic oil and the product, eliminating any risk of contamination.

Operating Principles

The impeller is housed between the inlet body and venturi casing and rotates with the pump shaft. This arrangement, combined with the side-channel design, creates negative pressure inside the inlet body, generating strong suction. Simultaneously, the liquid gains kinetic and pressure energy, allowing efficient transfer through the impeller casing.
